Birthday!

I turned 1 year old last Tuesday! We opened presents before Daddy made dinner for me. I got two presents to unwrap:

Beach Trip

This past weekend we went to the Jenschke family reunion at Port Aransas. Everyone wanted to hold me and I wanted food!

Daddy and I went back to the beach house on Saturday and took a big nap. We went back to the beach and Daddy took me way out in the waves, but I didn't like it so we hurried back to the shore. William took his nap at the beach!

Climbing

I am cruising very fast now and I can climb! Mommy got a picture of me on top of our Leap table.

Today we went hiking at the Barton Creek Greenbelt. Daddy had me in the backpack and misjudged a branch. It poked me right in the head! It hurt very badly and I cried to make sure everyone knew that I was hurt. Mommy carried me for a little bit, but we were still about 2 miles from our car, so I had to ride in the backpack the whole way back. I was on the lookout for branches!

Pool!

Mommy got a pool for us and Daddy filled it with water. It is so hot here in Texas that Caroline and I couldn't wait to get in!

I like to pull baby sister around in her float, and she likes to be pulled around. Hopefully we can keep the pool up long enough so we can get a few days in it. Then we'll have to put it away for awhile so the water doesn't get yucky.
