Sunday, January 25, 2004 Weekend in the country. We went to my Great Uncle's ranch in the Hill Country for the weekend. We took a ride around the ranch and saw cattle, and stopped by the tank and I wanted to get off of the deck and get in the water! Daddy wouldn't let me and I got really upset. Saturday night, after the men were done stuffing sausage, Mommy took me out to the liar's pit where all the men were talking while the sausage smoked in the smokehouse. I got to talk to a real cowboy: Sunday morning, I tried to play with Lea, but she doesn't like me and kept running away: posted by William at 10:27 PM Thursday, January 22, 2004 New Toothbrush Mommy used to brush my teeth with a rubber thing she put on her finger. When I get hungry, I sometimes try and get in my highchair by myself so someone will give me some food! posted by William at 10:59 PM Tuesday, January 13, 2004 Messy Eater I am learning how to eat off of a plate now. Since I am around toddlers that are older than me, I am learning to do lots of things. After our lunch or snacks, I go over to the sink and get on the stepstool and my teacher helps me wash my hands. Today, when Daddy picked me up in the afternoon, he stayed and talked with my teacher for a little bit while I finished playing with my friend. When he told me it was time to go, I went to the door and opened it so we could leave! I walk alot of places now. When we went shopping on Sunday I got to walk in to the stores from the car! posted by William at 9:05 PM Tuesday, January 06, 2004 First Haircut! Don't call me Shaggy anymore! Mommy and Daddy gave me my first haircut this evening. My hair is a little rough looking in spots, but at least my hair is out of my face now. The worst part was getting a lock for my baby book. Daddy put a rubberband in my hair on one side of my head and I looked really funny, or at least Mommy and Daddy thought so!
