Photo Albums | Tuesday, December 30, 2003Sunday DudsGrandpa Chomel and Melody gave me my first outfit that has a tie. I got to wear it to Christmas Day Mass! The church nursery was closed, so I got to go with Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma Jenschke. I was a little fussy at times because you have to be very still and quiet for almost an hour! I am transitioning to the toddler room at school. I spent the whole day in there today. I took a nap on my new mat instead of in a crib. We sit at tables to have lunch and snacks instead of a high chair. Hopefully my friend Jackson will be over to join me soon! ![]() posted by William at 7:48 PM Monday, December 22, 2003Big Weekend! This weekend we celebrated my birthday with all of my grandparents, aunts, and uncles! My good friend Jackson was also there! It was so much fun, and was a beautiful day Saturday. My first eight teeth came in without much fussing, but this is my first molar, and it hurt really bad. I woke up from my evening nap screaming. Dinner didn't help me feel better, so I just screamed and screamed. Mommy and Daddy were worried about me, so Mommy went digging in my mouth. Sure enough, there it was, just beneath my gum! My first molar. Daddy went and got a table spoon. Uh oh. I wasn't sure what he intended on doing with a table spoon, all I knew is that I didn't want to find out! But Daddy pressed the back of the spoon on my gum right where my new tooth was so he could help me cut it in. It hurt pretty bad, and I cried for about five or ten minutes. After that, I was back at my toy box playing! Also, my digestive "issues" have been worked out. After about 6-8 weeks of intermittent diarrhea, Mommy and Daddy were getting worried, and wanted to get to the bottom of the problem. Although I never acted sick, and never got dehydrated or lost weight, Mommy knew that something wasn't right with me. So she refused to let anyone tell her it was "just a stomach bug and not to worry"! My doctor suggested that perhaps back when I had my stomach bug, my digestive enzymes got out of whack. In order to bring them back into whack, I needed to take some good bacteria with my food. Mommy took me over to where Daddy works and we got Baby’s Jarro-Dophilus. I also switched to a soy formula until my digestive system heals. We started that last Wednesday, and sure enough, things are back to normal! I have a few pictures from my Thanksgiving weekend.
