Catch up!

Daddy was supposed to help me get my site updated last weekend, but we didn't have time and he left for a week of training in Dallas. He got to go see Grandpa Chomel last Sunday! The weekend before that my cousin Katie came to see us on Friday. Uncle Chris and Aunt Melly went on a weekend getaway, and my other cousin Alyssa was on a Girl Scout campout. She came to see us on Sunday. Katie and I played so much! We didn't get a chance to take many pictures, but here are a few:

We went to see the Declaration of Independence on Saturday, as it stopped in Austin for a couple of weeks at the LBJ Library. Home Depot was doing a workshop for kids where they could build a frame for a miniature copy of the declaration, so Katie built one. This is the apron they gave her:

Katie and didn't get out of our pajamas until about noon on Sunday!

Sunday evening I didn't feel too well, but I had plenty of people to take care of me:

First Steps!

Today at school I took my first steps. When Mommy came to pick me up, I walked to her. Then when Daddy came home from work, I walked to him. However, if I need to get somewhere fast, I still prefer crawling. Maybe I will learn to walk as well as I crawl, and then I'll just walk all the time!

Rocking Chair

Today I received a special rocking chair! It is over 50 years old. The chair was my Grandma Tucker's when she was little. It used to be red, but Grandma painted it black when my Uncle Chris was born. I like to rock it back and forth, and clap my hands:
