Mommy and Daddy looked at each other with big eyes. But they are not sure if it is my first word or not. They want to hear it a second time before they believe it! posted by William at 10:07 PM Monday, October 27, 2003Rough WeekendDaddy was sick all weekend. So I didn't get to go to a birthday party Daddy and I had planned on attending. Also, Mommy and I had to stay close to the house to tend to Daddy. He stayed home from work today, but is starting to feel better. Meanwhile, I am starting to learn to climb things!   And get into places I shouldn't be:  I am learning how to walk, but still need to hold on to things while walking:  I am still trying to learn how to drink from a cup, but sometimes get distracted by my toes:  It's almost Halloween, and Mommy got a pumpkin for Daddy and me to make a jack-o-lantern!  posted by William at 9:21 PM Monday, October 20, 2003Pictures!I crawl all over the place these days, even under the coffee table:  I like to shake things to see if they make noise:  Daddy made pancakes Saturday morning, and I got to have some:  Sunday, Mommy and Grandma Jenschke took me to Zilker Gardens! It was a beautiful day, but still a little warm, so I wanted to play in the water:  Grandma helped me get close to the water so I could put my hands in it:  Then we found a place where I could put my hands in on my own:  Then it was time to leave the water, and I got so upset at Mommy and Grandma! Why couldn't we stay just a little bit longer? Even a temper tantrum wouldn't work:  We also got to stand on the bridge and look at the goldfish:  posted by William at 9:12 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2003Tummy AcheWe went down to San Antonio to see Uncle Mike and Aunt Amber on Sunday. I am so excited, as they are going to have a little boy soon. I am sure we will play together after he gets here! Uncle Mike made a roast with potatoes and carrots. Mommy and Daddy let me have some of the potatoes and carrots, and they were so good I ate a small plate of them! But then I had a little trouble Monday morning and made a mess in my crib. It didn't stop after I got to school, so they called Daddy and he came and picked me up. They have rules about that sort of stuff, which is good because if a baby is sick, all of the others babies get sick too. Even though mine is just because of what I ate, I am still going to the doctor so he can have a look at me. When he sees that it's just the food, I will get a note so I can go back to school. So I have to drink this nasty pink stuff, and some purple stuff for my cough. I don't like that stuff, so I kick and scream while Daddy tries to hold me steady for Mommy to put the stuff in my mouth. I sleep alot too, except for last night. Daddy had to get up and feed me at 1:45, then I was up again about 3:00. Mommy came in and she wasn't happy with me, so I just went back to sleep and didn't get back up until this morning, when Mommy and Daddy are a little more agreeable to being awake! posted by William at 12:42 PM |
