 Wednesday, July 30, 2003Oops, I turned over my saucer!Mommy put me down so I could stand at my play table, but I decided to try and play with my saucer. She went in to the kitchen, and when she came back this is what she saw:  Where did all my toys go? Daddy took them out to put anti-slam hinges on my toybox. My toybox is special. It used to be my great grandfather's tool chest. Then it was Grandpa's tool chest, and then Daddy refinished it when he was 15 years old. He used it for a long time as a coffee table, and now it's my toybox! I can pull up and stand because it is really easy to grab and hold onto with my hands:  posted by William at 10:23 PM Sunday, July 27, 2003Third Tooth!I am getting my third tooth. It is the one to my left of my two bottom teeth. Also, I am almost ready to crawl. I can kind of crawl backwards, but I really want to go forward. I can get around backwards fairly well. Well enough to start scaring Mommy and Daddy. Yesterday I pulled a nightlight out of the wall and started playing with the electrical plug. I also got myself caught under Mommy's cedar chest. Since I can roll over and move around my crib, I sleep on my stomach when I want to and get my arms and legs through the slats in the crib. Mommy lowered my crib mattress all the way to the bottom of the crib, because I am starting to pull up and stand in the crib, and she doesn't want me to tumble out. I am not eating as much as I used to. I eat about 20 ounces of formula per day, a bowl of cereal, two jars of meat and veggies, and a jar of fruit. Sometimes I get a finger food. Mommy has two kinds for me, finger biscuits, and wagon wheels. Daddy tried both and says the finger biscuit is yummy, but the wagon wheel is lame. I can roll over whenever I want, can turn myself around, and can scooch a little (albeit backwards). Yesterday I pulled our music keyboard over on top of me....oops. Also, I wouldn't take a nap because I wanted to explore every inch of my crib! I pulled up on Grandma Jenschke's magazine rack and started rummaging through her magazines. TIME was meant to be chewed on, so I pulled it out and started chewing on the corner! My two bottom teeth are in full view now. My room has been almost done for awhile now, all we are waiting on is the border for the top. It is the same border I had in my room in Maryland. As a matter of fact, my room looks almost identical to my room in Maryland. I eat lots of different stuff now, but beef kind of makes me ill. I can pick things up and put them in my mouth, but sometimes Mommy helps me out with my teething biscuits. I fall and bang my head alot, which worries Mommy and Daddy, but I have to fall or I won't learn how to make it stop! posted by William at 9:16 AM Wednesday, July 02, 2003MovingMommy and Daddy have been busy at our new house. My room is coming together, but the rest of the house is a wreck!
